LogShield gives restaurant owners court-admissible incident reports in 60 seconds — with forensic photo certification, digital witness signatures, and RFC 3161 timestamps that no attorney can challenge.

Documentation quality is the difference between winning and writing a check. Here's what that looks like in practice.
Your bartender takes a photo on their personal phone and writes a note on a napkin. Eight months later, a lawsuit arrives. Your attorney asks for documentation. You have a blurry JPEG with an editable timestamp and a napkin that's long gone. Opposing counsel tears it apart in minutes.
Your manager opens LogShield. In 60 seconds: photos are sealed with a SHA-256 hash and RFC 3161 timestamp, the witness signs digitally on their phone, GPS confirms the exact location, and a court-ready PDF is generated. Eight months later, your attorney shares the report. Case closed.
Any staff member opens the web app. No training needed. Designed for someone under pressure in a real situation, not a software engineer.
Photos are sealed with a SHA-256 cryptographic hash and RFC 3161 timestamp the instant they're uploaded. Mathematically impossible to alter afterward.
The witness or involved party signs digitally on their phone — right there, right then. Their account is locked in before anyone can revise the story.
A formatted attorney-ready report is generated automatically — with certified photos, signatures, GPS coordinates, and a complete chain of custody. Share in one tap.
Every feature exists for one reason: to make sure that when a lawsuit arrives, your evidence holds up.
| Without LogShield | With LogShield | |
|---|---|---|
| Photo evidence | Standard phone photo — timestamp editable, no cryptographic proof, challenged instantly | SHA-256 hash sealed at upload — any alteration is mathematically detectable, RFC 3161 certified |
| Written record | Handwritten note — lost, illegible, or disputed months later when the lawsuit arrives | Permanent encrypted digital record — searchable, timestamped, stored immutably |
| Witness account | Verbal only — story changes over time, witness unavailable, nothing signed | E-SIGN digital signature on-site — legally binding in all 50 states under federal E-SIGN Act |
| Chain of custody | None — opposing counsel challenges every document you produce | Complete audit trail — attorney-ready PDF with GPS, timestamps, signatures, and custody log |
| Likely outcome | $40k–$120k settlement to avoid trial | Case dismissed or significantly reduced |
Every photo is hashed the moment it's uploaded to LogShield's servers. Any change to even a single pixel produces a completely different hash — making tampering mathematically detectable. The RFC 3161 timestamp comes from an independent certified authority, not your device.
Witnesses and involved parties sign directly on their phone within seconds of the incident. Signatures are legally binding across all 50 U.S. states under the federal E-SIGN Act and UETA — the same standard used by DocuSign and Adobe Sign.
Exact coordinates captured and embedded in every report. No one can dispute where the incident occurred or argue it happened in a different area of your property. Courts consistently view GPS-verified location data as reliable evidence.
"You've had 3 incidents near the bar entrance in 60 days." LogShield identifies liability patterns before they turn into lawsuits — and before your insurance company notices the trend and raises your premiums.
Every incident automatically generates a formatted report with certified photos, signature confirmation, GPS data, and a complete chain of custody log — ready to send to your attorney or insurance company in a single tap.
Add managers and staff with granular permissions. Control who can register incidents, who can view history, and who can export reports. Every action is logged by user, giving you complete accountability across your team.
"We had a slip and fall last November. Because of LogShield, we had certified photos, a signed witness statement, and GPS coordinates on file. Our attorney called it the most complete documentation he'd ever seen from a restaurant client."
"After seeing a competitor lose $80k on a fall that happened in broad daylight with witnesses, I knew a phone photo wasn't enough. LogShield completely changed how we document everything — it takes 60 seconds and I don't think about it anymore."
"My insurance agent asked what documentation system we were using after I submitted a claim. When I showed her the LogShield report, she said it was better than what companies three times our size produce."

LogShield uses RFC 3161 certified timestamps and SHA-256 hashing — standards aligned with Federal Rules of Evidence 902(13) and 902(14), which allow self-authentication of electronic records. Digital signatures comply with the federal E-SIGN Act. That said, admissibility is determined by judges on a case-by-case basis. LogShield is a documentation tool, not legal advice. Always consult a licensed attorney for your specific situation.
A standard phone photo can be challenged instantly in court: the timestamp is editable, there's no cryptographic proof the image wasn't altered, and there's no chain of custody. LogShield seals each photo with a SHA-256 hash the moment it's uploaded — any change to even a single pixel produces a completely different hash. The RFC 3161 timestamp comes from an independent certified authority, not your device clock.
No. LogShield is designed for someone who is stressed, busy, and possibly dealing with an injured customer in real time. The entire flow — photo, details, witness signature — completes in under 60 seconds with no prior training. If your staff can send a text message, they can use LogShield.
You can export all incident reports as PDFs at any time — before, during, or after cancellation. Incidents can be referenced in lawsuits years after they occur, so we recommend exporting records regularly regardless. Your cryptographic timestamps remain independently valid even after cancellation.
No — never cancel your insurance. LogShield and liability insurance work together. Good documentation helps your insurer process claims faster, reduces your risk of losing disputes, and demonstrates responsible risk management. Several insurance companies have expressed interest in offering LogShield as a benefit to their restaurant policyholders.
Yes. All data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit on SOC 2 compliant infrastructure. Incident photos use immutable WORM storage — once uploaded, no one including LogShield can modify or delete them. Your data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used to train AI models.
